Overmolding
is the process of molding plastic over existing components
to create the strength and flexibility one layer plastic
does not possess. PPI has great success in achieving low
cost, high production overmolding processes.
Injection/Blow Molding
Injection/Blow molding is the combination process
of using straight injection molding and blow molding in
the same diemold assembly. Protoplast is the industry
master of this unique process.
Current R & D
PPI conducts an active R&D program, one of the latest projects (which is in the process of being patented) is the groundbreaking success of injection molding and blow molding the same part
in the same mold.
