Prototype Molds

Designed to demonstrate cost effectiveness and production potential PPI will work with the customer on a 'unit tool' until the part is correct.

PPI will work with a customer until the unit tool is producing parts to specification. Integrated CAD-CAM ensures that development costs are held to minimum and nothing is machined until the data is absolute.

Another process used by PPI to develop a mold and parts is SLA - stereolithography. This process is a computer guided production process that melts a resin powder into a hardened plastic finished shape by using vector based lasers that move in a three dimensional direction. The end result is a plastic pattern. This pattern is invaluable in demonstrating the finished part and potential problems for the mold design.
