Hybrid Molds

Hybrid molds are a PPI speciality. Using dissimilar metals for molding purposes, usually to ensure a rapid cooldown of the part and thereby decreasing cycle time and boosting production, PPI has perfected this manufacturing technique and is an acknowledged industry leader in this technology.

This mold uses a copper beryllium core mounted in a QC7aluminium mold.

 
Standardized parts and a M.U.D. chassis means that construction time and maintenance duties are minimized thus saving the customer money.

PPI has been an innovator in the use of hybrid molds, they have made them work!
